Official: Russia may export up to 50 mln tns of grain in 2017-2018
MOSCOW, Jan 30 (PRIME) -- Russia may export up to 50 million tonnes of grain including 35 million tonnes of wheat in the 2017-2018 agricultural year lasting from July 1, 2017 through June 30, 2018, Anatoly Kutsenko, director of the Agriculture Ministry’s department for regulation of agricultural markets, said on Tuesday.
The ministry’s export forecast for 2017-2018 stands at 45-47 million tonnes of grain, including 40 tonnes of wheat. Last season, Russia exported 35.474 million tonnes of grain, including 27.075 million tonnes of wheat.
